When the Press Gang were invited to perform at the Print Council of Australia's fundraiser on Saturday 29 June 2024, how could the answer be anything other than a resounding YES!? It was both an honour and a hoot. A huge thank you to the PCA for all they have done over the years to support the Australian printmaking community. May they be around for many more years to come. Each year, the RMIT Print studio hosts a fundraising auction to support students with scholarships as they leave art school and enter their professional lives as practicing artists. The Print studio is also where Press Gangsters Jazmina, Etienne and Sophie studied printmaking and where Jazmina has been teaching for decades. Needless to say, the Press Gang were more than happy to provide some educational entertainment for the event.
The Artery Cooperative is where Jazmina has her studio and where the Press Gang have taken advantage of the fab Project Space for rehearsals on more than one occasion. When the call out came for performances at the Open Studio/Studio Christmas Party, how could we possibly say no? Thank you to all at Artery for singing along and a super fun night, and to Lucy Foster for these super snaps.
We just love Baldessin Press and consider ourselves blessed to be invited back each year to headline their annual Printmakers' Picnic. Once again, it was a magical day amongst the bluestones, blue gums and beautiful people. A huge thank you to the big-hearted folk at Baldessin and to Silvi Glattauer for the pitch perfect photos.

It's always a joy to be amongst the eucalypts and take to the mud brick stage at the annual Baldessin Press Printmakers' Picnic. Thank you to Tess Edwards for always making us feel so welcome, and to Silvi Glattauer for the fab photos.
